Promoting Innovation in medical technology
NEOvations Bench to Bedside (NEOvations B2B), a medical innovation and entrepreneurship program of Northeast Ohio Medical University, is modeled after a world-renowned University of Utah program.
We offer a stipend for prototype development and connects interdisciplinary student teams to professionals and consultants for guidance in critical problem assessment, proof of concept development, legal landscape evaluation, regulatory pathway establishment, intellectual property protection and commercialization strategy formulation.
Partner institutions include The University of Akron School of Law, Cleveland State University and Kent State University.

INNOVATE
Teams learn the process of medical device design including development, marketing, engineering, customer discovery, and more.
LEARN
No experience required! Teams work with clinician mentors and guest lecturers to learn about IP, business and much more.
COMPETE
Teams are given $500 toward development of their device and $20,000+ in prizes available at the May competition.
